However, I quickly hit a hurdle many homebuyers still face today: the Bay Area’s real estate market was fiercely fragmented. At the time, to show you the full 9-county region, an independent advocate would have to join four or five different associations, making a unified search tool financially impossible for a solo operation. Rather than compromise and provide an incomplete, frustrating tool to the public, I chose to wait. For twenty years, the site remained a simple static page—a placeholder for a promise that I refused to give up on. 2026: A Promise Kept: In the summer of 2026, the landscape finally changed. The NorCal Alliance MLS began providing a unified, merged data feed for the greater Bay Area. For me, this was the moment 27 years in the making. Finally, the technology caught up to the vision. Today, BayAreaHomes.com is fully live. I have kept my original 2006 logo at the top of the page as a permanent reminder of where I started, and the steady, patient values I bring to every single client.
